Meet Iris!

We’re excited to introduce Iris, the newest member of the CARE House of Oakland County team—and our new Canine Advocate

Iris is specially trained to provide comfort and emotional support to children during forensic interviews, counseling sessions, and court preparation. Her calm presence helps children feel safe, supported, and less alone during difficult moments.

Meet Iris, a sweet black lab with a heart of gold!

Iris is ready to work! She is pictured here with her handlers, Paige and Becca, and her mom, Yvonne.
