  3. Attend a special event – In addition to our annual Circle of Friends luncheon in January and our Care Night Gala in October, we host and participate in a variety of training seminars, third party fundraising events, and more. Keep updated on our upcoming events here!

5. Plant a pinwheel garden for Child Abuse Prevention Month – April is Child Abuse Prevention month, a time when organizations like CARE House highlight the work done to keep children from ever becoming victims of abuse. Pinwheels are the symbol of CAP Month, and planting a pinwheel garden at your home or business is an easy way to show your support and help continue the conversation about abuse prevention. If you’d like to reserve pinwheels and plant your own garden this April, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.!

6. Make an in-kind donation – Check out our wishlist if you’d like to support us through donating the items we regularly use in our services.

7. Donate Gas Cards – One item we need most often are gift cards that can be used to buy gasoline. We give these cards to our clients who need a little extra help to come to our building each week for therapy. Gift cards between $5-10 from gas station chains, as well as stores with gas pumps (eg Meijer, Kroger) can ensure that all of our clients can continue to benefit equally from our services.

8. Tell a friend about CARE House – You are the best ambassador we could ask for to spread our mission to more people in our community. Consider sharing this post, or telling a friend to follow us on social media, or to sign up for a tour!
