Ways to get involved

Community Service hour fulfillment

Upcoming volunteer events and training

The Council's Helping Hands/Shaping Futures Volunteer Program has more than 100 dedicated men and women, who together provide thousands of hours of service each year to the children and families of CARE House.

Volunteers help in so many important ways — from working directly with the children and non-offending family members, to helping with the Council's fundraising events or support needs.

If you are interested in exploring the many volunteer opportunities available at CARE House of Oakland County, please call Laurie Walters, Director of Volunteer Services, at (248) 332-7173, or email her at lwalters@carehouse.org.
