Healthy Start/Healthy Families

CARE House of Oakland County collaborates with St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital to provide the Healthy Start/Healthy Families program. As part of the program, four in-home Family Support Specialists bring critical services to mothers who are identified as being at a high risk of abusing or neglecting their children. These vital services are offered to mothers of children from the pre-natal period through age five.

You can help prevent child abuse by donating household items that will be provided to at-risk mothers and families.
