Volunteer:

CARE House Volunteers are special people who give the precious gift of time to make a difference in the life of a child. Without the thousands of hours contributed each year by its volunteers, far fewer children and families would be served. There are many volunteer opportunities at CARE House of Oakland County.

Stories:

There are countless stories of the children who have come to CARE House for hope and healing. These are stories of children who have found a safe place where their voices can be heard and believed. They are stories of courage overcoming fear, of pride overcoming shame. Each story is as unique as each child. Each journey has its own path.

Oakland County Executive L. Brooks Patterson distributed donations among 18 southeast Michigan organizations (including CARE House) on Tuesday, December 18th during a ceremony in the lobby of the Executive Office Building.  The Funds were raised by county employees over the course of 2012 from Casual Day donations.

"The generosity of our county employees is exceeded only by their professionalism and commitment to serve the residents of Oakland County", stated Mr. Patterson.  "The Casual Day is one of the many ways our employees give back throughout the year."

Thank you for your support of the children of CARE House!
